Mohamed is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is the Senior Partner and Head of the Finance and Real Estate Department.
He is a graduate of Master of Laws –LLM degree in Public Finance and Financial Services Law from the University of Nairobi, Kenya School of Law, Diploma in Law and a Bachelor of Laws – LLB (Hons) graduate from the University of Cairo, where he attained First Class Honors. Mr. Abdullahi has worked at Zulfcar Partners in Egypt, Letangule & Company Advocates and Parliament of Kenya.
Over the years, Mr. Abdullahi has accumulated experience in energy law especially in the areas of gas and oil exploration, gas concession agreements, upstream support service agreements, gas transport and processing agreements, mergers and acquisitions, banking finance and securities, Islamic finance and securities, tax advisory and litigation before tax tribunals, mediation and arbitration
Silas is a Commissioner of Oaths and an Advocate of the High Court of court and a Certifed Public Secretary. He is the Managing Partner and heads the Corporate, Commercial & Transactional Practices Department. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Moi University, Kenya School of Law, Diploma in Law and a Master of Laws in International Financial Law and Regulations from Strathmore University.
He is an astute business lawyer with a specific bias in the areas of corporate & commercial law, alternative dispute resolution, property law & conveyancing, intellectual property & ICT law, project finance, mergers & acquisitions, banking law and securitization, oil and energy law, regulatory compliance and capital markets advisory.
He possesses a sound understanding of the business environment and more so in specialized industries, thus translating their broad range of legal needs into viable tailor made solutions. He has previously worked at Daly & Inamdar Advocates, Igeria & Ngugi Advocates, Chase Bank (K) Limited as a legal counsel and Muma and Kanjama Advocates where he was the head of the Corporate, Commercial and Transactional Practices Department.
Duncan is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He is a Principal Associate in the department of Dispute Resolution and Debt Recovery with over four years’ experience. His main areas of Practice include commercial litigation, constitutional & administrative law, election law, employment law, criminal law, family law, judicial review and general litigation practice. During his years of practice, he has handled matters ranging from commercial dispute, judicial review applications, environmental and land disputes, probate and electoral disputes.
He has previously worked at KENTRADE a state corporation, Mwaniki Gachoka & Co. Advocates and Muigai, Kemei & Associates Advocates and has possessed immense wealth of experience in dispute resolution matters
Kikanu is a Commissioner of Oaths and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a vast range of experience in various areas of the law. She holds an LL.B. from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in Natural Resources Law and Policy at Dundee University. She has a bias in civil and commercial litigation, debt recovery, probate and administration, family law, employment and labor relations disputes, insurance claims, constitutional and administrative law and general litigation practice.
She has previously worked as an associate at Simba & Simba Advocates and V.A Nyamodi & Co. Advocates wherein she served and completed several matters through litigation in court and out of court, through mediation, arbitration, and negotiation.
Hanifa is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, and an Associate Advocate at the firm’s Commercial and Real Estate Department. She has vast experience in conveyancing law, tax law, intellectual property, employment law, arbitration, probate and administration, dispute resolution and legislative drafting.
She has a Law Degree from Moi University and a Post- Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She has also successfully completed courses in intellectual property, Arbitration, and Mediation from the World Intellectual Property Organization Academy in Geneva, Switzerland.
She previously worked with Rachier & Amollo Advocates LLP, Kenya Law Reform Commission and New York University on a Policy Formulation Project.
Kaaya completed his LLB from Kabarak University with Second Class Upper and subsequently obtained Post-Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law and later admitted to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He forms part of our efficient, tactical and highly strategic Dispute Resolution and Debt Recovery Department. He attends to Employment, Insurance, Constitutional Petitions, Intellectual property, General civil and criminal litigation cases.
Raynold Ngondo is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and an Associate at the firm’s Commercial and Real Estate Department. He holds a law degree from Kenyatta University and Post-Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law. Raynold is proficient in mergers and acquisition, competition law, real estate structuring, project financing, estate planning and in creation and perfection of securities.
He undertakes matters relating to intellectual property, real estate transactions, corporate restructuring, banking and finance, tax and corporate secretarial services. He also an expert in employment law and the team benefits from his experience in assisting various multinationals and local clients in resolving a wide spectrum of employment disputes ranging from redundancies, summary dismissals to collective actions by unions. He has previously worked with Competition Authority of Kenya, MMC Asafo and Dentons-Hamilton Harrison Mathews.
Grace is a dynamic office administrator. She holds a diploma in IATA and Computer Reservation System and is also pursuing a diploma in Business Management at the Kenya Institute of Management. She has vast experience in front office supervision, and has worked in challenging office environments, including a three-year stint at MMC Africa Law and Mulanya & Maondo Advocates where she reported directly to the Managing Partner. She is a detail oriented “multi-tasker”, able to balance competing priorities without compromising quality of projects with polished communication and interpersonal skills
Abdirahman is the accountant and in-charge of finances in the firm. He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies in Accounting, both from the Islamic University in Uganda. Abdirahman was the Operational Manager and head of the Uganda Branch at Olympic International Money Transfer and Forex Bureau Limited in Kampala before joining the firm where he developed great interpersonal, customer service and administrative and accounting skills.
Anne is a diligent administration assistant who has completed accounting certificate ATC LEVEL 1 & 2 and is currently undertaking Certificate of Public Accountancy Course (CPA). She has previously worked in various real estate firms in sales, marketing and administration.
