Benah Nicole Mukobi, LL.M, PGDip Law, LL.B, Commissioner for Oaths, Notary Public

Benah Nicole Mukobi is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public. She is an Associate Advocate at the firm and forms part of the Dispute Resolution and Debt Recovery Department. Her practice areas and interests have notably centered on commercial litigation, constitutional & administrative law, employment law, criminal law, family law and succession, judicial review and general litigation practice.

Benah possesses a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDip) from the Kenya School of Law. A budding legal scholar, Ms. Mukobi pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree at the University of Nairobi, Public International Law (major). Her dissertation addressed the plight and access to justice of Kenyan emigrant domestic workers in Saudi Arabia.

Outside the corridors of justice, Benah enjoys recreational running, mountaineering, experimenting new food recipes and reading contemporary fictional works. Further, Benah is a novice in realist painting, enjoys community volunteering and supports the magnificent Arsenal Football Club.

Mohamed is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is the Senior Partner and Head of the Finance and Real Estate Department.

He is a graduate of Master of Laws –LLM degree in Public Finance and Financial Services Law from the University of Nairobi, Kenya School of Law, Diploma in Law and a Bachelor of Laws – LLB (Hons) graduate from the University of Cairo, where he attained First Class Honors. Mr. Abdullahi has worked at Zulfcar Partners in Egypt, Letangule & Company Advocates and Parliament of Kenya.

Over the years, Mr. Abdullahi has accumulated experience in energy law especially in the areas of gas and oil exploration, gas concession agreements, upstream support service agreements, gas transport and processing agreements, mergers and acquisitions, banking finance and securities, Islamic finance and securities, tax advisory and litigation before tax tribunals, mediation and arbitration

Edwin is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Debt recovery department and specializes in commercial disputes, insurance law, employment disputes, running down matters, data protection law, election law, procurement law and general litigation practice.

Prior to joining the firm, he has worked with other institutions such as Waruhiu Kówade & Ngángá Advocates and Philip Muoka & Company Advocates where he was engaged in various capacities that shaped his skills and knowledge.

Edwin considers himself a futurist and believes that technology is the answer to navigating the maze that is litigation.

Jamila is an adept Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and an Associate at the firm’s Corporate Commercial and Real Estate Department. She holds Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Kenyatta University and Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law.

Jamila is an expert on corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, non-contentious probate and real estate practice. She is responsible for undertaking Legal Due Diligence, Regulatory Compliance advisory services, Legal and Compliance Audit, Corporate Restructuring, Security Perfection, Preparation and Review of Legal Documents arising from employment, contracts, real estate transactions and company secretarial practices.

Ms. Jamila brings to the firm diversity of legal knowledge, experience and skills having worked in the private sector. She has previously worked at Abdulrahman, Saad and Associates Advocates and at BMA Advocates LLP as an associate mostly dealing with corporate and commercial practice. She is highly driven, competent and diligent legal practitioner who upholds values of integrity, professionalism, honesty and quality in provision of legal services to our clients.
