Silas is a Commissioner of Oaths and an Advocate of the High Court of court and a Certifed Public Secretary. He is the Managing Partner and heads the Corporate, Commercial & Transactional Practices Department. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Moi University, Kenya School of Law, Diploma in Law and a Master of Laws in International Financial Law and Regulations from Strathmore University.
He is an astute business lawyer with a specific bias in the areas of corporate & commercial law, alternative dispute resolution, property law & conveyancing, intellectual property & ICT law, project finance, mergers & acquisitions, banking law and securitization, oil and energy law, regulatory compliance and capital markets advisory.
He possesses a sound understanding of the business environment and more so in specialized industries, thus translating their broad range of legal needs into viable tailor made solutions. He has previously worked at Daly & Inamdar Advocates, Igeria & Ngugi Advocates, Chase Bank (K) Limited as a legal counsel and Muma and Kanjama Advocates where he was the head of the Corporate, Commercial and Transactional Practices Department.
