With your support the event raised Ksh. 2,000,000 to support the girl child/women in facilitating the Fistula surgeries to take place.
The goal of the Fistula Challenge Golf Tournament was to facilitate fistula surgery for at least 200 women and ensure that they are re-integrated into society.
Amref Health Africa addresses the needs of vulnerable populations especially women, children and youth. Each year, Amref Health Africa organizes a charitable event towards three worthy causes – fistula surgeries, female genital mutilation and cancer treatment. Amref has been at the forefront of creating awareness about fistula and providing surgical repair services to women living with the condition.
This year, we would not have done this without the generous support of a caring community. Thank you again for your thoughtful donation towards bringing dignity to women and girls in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 3 of “Good Health and Well-being.”
